The District 96 Annual Conference 2024 will be held in-person at the University Golf Club in Vancouver, British Columbia from Friday, May 17 to Saturday, May 18, 2024.

This conference will not just be the first in-person conference District 96 will host since 2019, it will also be the District’s largest celebration of Toastmasters International’s centenary year!

This exciting two-day event will feature a top-shelf line-up of Keynote & Education session presenters, the District Evaluation Contest & the International Speech Contest, a traditional banner parade, Communication & Leadership Award ceremony, a First Timers reception and many opportunities to socialize and engage with members from across the District.

Tee Times are limited and can be booked online up to 14-days in advance using UGC's DYNAMIC PRICING system. If you need to cancel your time, please do so before 5PM the day before your booking time. For group bookings of 3 or more tee times, please contact Justin at UGC at (604) 225-2308.

Guests may also conveniently access University Golf Club's practice driving range anytime before or after conference hours 8AM-8PM PST (Last Bucket Sold at 7:30pm, Lights out at 8 pm). Small, medium and large basket pricing posted on UGC website.

Additional Information

Overnight Accommodations

We recommend West Coast Suites located at University of British Columbia campus, AirbnB or any other hotel or short term rental located in the UBC area. There are no group rates available at this time.

Travel & Transportation

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is a 30-minute drive to the venue.

For public transportation, the most convenient is Vancouver City Center, accessing Canada Line SkyTrain with transfer to TransLink Bus Route 49 UBC Southbound on Granville Street, exit at WB University Blvd @ Blanca Street followed by 3-minute walk to University Golf Course.

Parking

Parking is free to all attendees in the general University Golf Club lot on a first-come, first-served basis. Overflow paid parking is available at the Church nearby.

Accessibility

Handicap accessible parking stalls are also available. The facility is also well equipped to accommodate handicap attendees both in an outside of the facility and golf grounds.
